Recent experiments at two sites have resulted in a rate increase to $2.00 for the first hour, and $1.00 per hour thereafter, resulting in a substantial increase in revenues.
Consumers may purchase monthly parking permits for Site #2 and Site #15 for $30.00 per month; for Site #1 for $50.00 per month; for Site #11, for $110.00 per month, and Site 12-E for $130.00.
The Authority also sells monthly coupon books that contain 22 coupons (one coupon per parking transaction). These books are available to patrons of Site #10 for a monthly charge of $77.00 and to patrons at other sites for $77.00 per month.
It is important to emphasize that the laws under which the Authority operates allow it flexibility in expanding its revenue potential by building additional parking facilities, building leasable retail space, upgrading its current facilities, broadening the range of transportation-related services it can offer, and proposing reasonable adjustments to its rate schedules in order to further enhance its revenue potential.
