Dear Valued Customer,

As you may know, the much anticipated Center City Project has recently been finalized. The Public Safety Building Construction Project was also bugun as well. This project will improve the economic vitality of downtown Paterson. Upon completion, there will be new, superior parking facilities that will provide both underground and above ground parking spaces for your convenience.

Effective immediately, a limited portion of Ward Street Lot #12 South will be unavailable. The remainder of Lot #12S and Ward Street Lot # 6 will be closed on May 30, 2006. The Parking Authority has developed alternative parking options for you based on the results of successful test runs conducted in June of 2005. These options include valet parking, parking lifts and shuttle service to access other nearby parking facilities.

Our customers are very important to us. In conjunction with Center City Partners we are working very hard to minimize this disruption to our patrons. Some of the steps we have taken include: additional support from the Paterson Police and Passaic County Sheriff's officers to help ensure an orderly traffic flow; additional staff at each parking location; and there will be increased frequency for the shuttle services.

All prices remain the same, with the exception of the Ward and Clark Street (P1) Premier Valet Station. All coupons and permits will be honored at all facilities except at the Ward and Clark Street (P1) Premier Valet Station.
